Choose A Pressure Meter

  1. Range:

It is advisable to determine what the maximum pressure of the operating equipment is to select a pressure gauge with the appropriate scale. It is generally advisable to choose a gauge pressure scale larger than the maximum operating value because a scale that is too low can lead to a reduction in the resilience of the bourdon tube due to high operating pressures. A scale that is too high can reduce the accuracy of the measurement results.

  1. Fluid:

The material for making the sensor elements (commonly a bourdon tube) must be compatible with the working fluid. Two common types today are copper and stainless steel. However, if used in an acidic environment or any other corrosive solution, you must know how to choose the right material such as a diaphragm pressure gauge.

Thread connection 13mm, 17mm or 21mm (equivalent to G1/4 B, G3/8B, G1/2B). Besides, there is a type of connecting pin to match the installation location. There are two types of legs: the bottom (bottom) and the back (back).

    3. Temperature:

Usually pressure gauges are designed to work well in temperatures between -30°C and 65°C. There are special lines that allow use in high temperature environments up to 300 degrees Celsius.

   4. Installation place with vibration and impact:

It is recommended to use a pressure gauge containing glycerine solution to keep the needle stable during operation and to avoid erroneous measurement results

  5. Diameter:

Depending on your needs as well as the location of the installation, you can choose a pressure gauge with a face diameter of 40mm or 250mm.
